HISTORY
Our fully renovated B&B combines classic historical features with modern convenience. The house dates back to 1903, and we have lovingly updated the home to accommodate 8 guest suites whilst retaining many original features. Read more about our fascinating history here.
ROOMS
There are 8 rooms each with a unique look and feel, that vary from the deluxe turret suites, to sitting room suites to traditional and basic rooms. All have lovely bathrooms and all the modern amenities, most rooms have King Size beds, and all are air- conditioned. Prices range from CAD $135 to $208 (breakfast included). Each room is named for something significant in Fredericton …. a river boat that would have steamed past, a renowned children’s author, and the First Nations original name for the Saint John River. IN THE NEWS

We stayed in two rooms on the third (top) floor. They shared a small common area, with private but not ensuite bathrooms. The Miss Tibbett room was spacious and comfortable,... read more with a very large closet and an old-fashioned tub in the bathroom. The Violet room was smaller but still had lots of space, with a shower stall in the bathroom. Bathrooms had modern fixtures. Each room had a ductless air conditioner over the bed, and it was completely silent! The mattress was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The common area had a small fridge, some seating, and another a/c; much appreciated on a hot day. Everything was clean and comfortable; we had a really relaxing stay. I recommend this pair of rooms for family or friends travelling together. Being on the third floor meant a lot of stairs, but also quiet and privacy. Great location with ample parking; close to walking trails and downtown. Located in a beautiful neighbourhood, and very easy to find.
